The garden is divided into plots that can be rented for the season. Preference will be given to existing members who wish to keep the same plot from year to year. Unsold plots will be combined into a single communal garden maintained by members with the produce sold at our stand. The proceeds will go into our general fund.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

It is $40 for one 10ft x 20 ft plot. Plots can be shared, but each gardener must fill out a separate application form.

The Brownton community garden is located on the northwest side of town at the intersection of 4th Ave N and 4th St N on the south side of Buffalo Creek.

You may plant anything you like - vegetable, fruit, or flower - as long as it is an annual. There are exceptions: marijuana, hemp, and poppies are banned from the community garden.
